In this webinar, Dan Perera and Nick Longley will be joined by Brenda Horrigan (Independent Arbitrator) and Tess Pereira (Performance Psychologist) to discuss how psychological tactics, whether deliberate or subconscious, can influence the conduct, strategy, and outcomes of arbitration proceedings. The aim is to shed light on the subtle dynamics that shape arbitrator perceptions, party behaviour, and procedural decisions.

The concept of “mind games” in arbitration is not about manipulation for its own sake, but rather about understanding how psychological factors such as pressure, persuasion, and strategic ambiguity can be used or misused in high-stakes dispute resolution.
