HFW Wins Big At Aviation 100 European Awards

Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has continued its run of aerospace industry awards with two wins at the Airline Economics Aviation 100 European Awards 2019.

HFW advised Israeli airline El Al on a pair of award-winning deals relating to Boeing 787-9 aircraft: a UKEF-guaranteed financing with Citi – the largest single export deal the UK has had with Israel; and its first JOLCO, with BNP Paribas and SBI Leasing Services.

The transactions won EMEA Supported Finance Deal of the Year and EMEA Editor’s Deal of the Year, respectively.

Airline Economics says the awards recognise the industry’s “most outstanding deals”.

HFW’s team advising El Al comprised London-based Zohar Zik, Barbara Pansadoro and Natasha Voisin.
