Bob Haken, Partner at law firm HFW, has been confirmed as Chair of the City of London Law Society (CLLS) Insurance Law Committee.
The CLLS is the professional representative body for solicitors and law firms in the City of London, including all the largest national and international practitioners. Prior to his appointment as Chair, Bob previously served as Vice-Chair on the Insurance Law Committee – one of CLLS’ 22 specialist committees.

Bob regularly advises insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries and Lloyd’s participants on corporate, regulatory and commercial matters affecting the insurance industry.
His experience includes M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, capital raisings, distribution arrangements, equity investments (particularly in InsurTech), reinsurance arrangements and prudential regulation.
