HFW advises on sale of Hawaiian Airline

Global, sector-focused law firm HFW advised owners of Kamaka Air Inc., an inter-island airline and logistics company based in Honolulu, Hawaii, in selling part of the business to Trinity Investors in Phoenix, AZ and RLG Capital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The airline will continue to be locally owned and operated by Jim Petrides and John Gravener.

HFW’s team was led by Shanghai-based Brinton Scott and Danielle Peng, who acted as lead counsel on the deal. HFW worked with US firms Lucas K. Love LLLC on Tax, and Carlsmith Ball LLP on Labour and Regulatory issues. Trinity and RLG were represented by Jasso Lopez out of Dallas, Texas. Element Asia Capital represented the owners.
