HFW sees out 2011 with more accolades

We are delighted to announce that Partner James Gosling has once again been named in the Lloyd's List 100 Most Influential People in Shipping list.

The 2011 list sees James hit the No. 2 spot in the law personalities list (having won the top legal spot in 2010), where he is described as "an amazing lawyer" and "a leader in the field", with 'few lawyers able to match his expertise'.

In addition, we are also delighted to announce that the firm has been awarded the Acquisition International Shipping & Maritime Law Firm of the Year 2011 award. This award, which celebrates those at the forefront of the ship finance sector, is testament to the work of Partner John Forrester and his team who, despite tough market conditions, continue to work on landmark industry deals in the ship finance sector, including Nordea Bank's $750m 'forward-start' facility for Euronav, and provide clients with the highest quality of legal advice.
