HFW bolsters Asia-Pacific aviation capabilities
Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) is delighted to announce that Paul Woodley will be joining the HFW Aerospace team in June, as an Associate. Paul will be part of the Asia Aerospace team, which is the largest aerospace liability team in the region, and will be based in Singapore.
Paul brings valuable experience in worldwide aviation matters, aided by his previous experience at Gates & Partners, as well as his position prior to that as a Lloyd’s broker for Aon Aviation. He has acted for airlines, manufacturers and airport service providers in several jurisdictions, in addition to handling complex sports liability aviation related claims.
Paul has always maintained a keen interest in pursuing a career in Asia, following his position as a broker within the Asia-Pacific Airline team at Aon. Mert Hifzi, who heads the HFW Asia Aerospace practice, commented: "we are delighted to welcome Paul. He brings with him a wealth of both legal and insurance market experience in the aviation sector, and will be a very valuable addition to our team."
HFW strengthened its aviation offering markedly in October 2011, when a market-leading Aerospace team joined the firm, and this latest hire brings the global team to over 40, making it one of the largest law firm teams in the industry.
