Christopher is head of the insurance and reinsurance global group. He specialises in high-value international dispute resolution in the insurance and reinsurance sector. He is particularly well known for his extensive work in the Latin American markets.

He is a member of the British Insurance Law Association. He also regularly lectures on insurance and reinsurance topics and advises the insurance market on policy issues, product development and policy wordings. He is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Chambers UK 2017 says "He possesses considerable reinsurance expertise and has a notable reputation for handling work for major Latin American clients." Christopher is ranked in Band 1 as a leading lawyer Latin America wide by Chambers 2017. He is described as a "well mannered, straightforward and bright lawyer" in Chambers UK 2015 and the Legal 500 2014 says his fluency in Spanish "gives him important strength with Latin American clients". Chambers Latin America 2016 highlights his "deep expertise of the Spanish-speaking markets in Latin America". Chambers Latin America acknowledges that Christopher is "very knowledgeable" and says that he "is appreciated by clients for his fluency in Spanish and for providing "alternative solutions and frank opinions. He has a wealth of experience acting on insurance and reinsurance litigation relating to Latin America."

Christopher is an English solicitor and is qualified in England and Wales.
