About Adam
Adam Strong is a Partner in HFW’s Insurance & Reinsurance team.
He specialises in Dispute Resolution, with experience in both commercial and investor/state international arbitration. He also has extensive experience of third-party funding.
Adam has acted in arbitrations under a range of institutional rules (ICSID, ICC, LCIA and ARIAS). He holds higher rights of audience and has experience of asset preservation and freezing orders.
His insurance expertise covers financial institutions, professional indemnity, product liability, warranty and indemnity, cyber, and commercial general liability. Adam’s reinsurance experience is extensive and includes advising on collateralised reinsurance treaty disputes.
Additionally, Adam advises clients on drafting new product offerings, reinsurance treaty wordings, and binding authority agreements.
Adam’s commercial and investor/state arbitration experience is wide-ranging and encompasses disputes in Europe, Africa, USA, Bermuda, the Middle East and SE Asia. He has acted for investors in bringing claims against sovereign states and also defended sovereign states at ICSID.
He is qualified in England and Wales.
