HFW appoints Sanjay Bhandari MBE as External Board Advisor

Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has appointed Sanjay Bhandari MBE as an external adviser to its Board.

Sanjay brings extensive senior leadership, commercial, and governance experience across professional services, the legal sector, and other complex, Partner-led organisations.

His career spans senior roles at EY and KPMG, legal practice at Herbert Smith Freehills and Baker McKenzie, and a range of Chair, Board, and Independent Non‑Executive Director appointments, including at Travers Smith.

Alongside his core business and governance experience, Sanjay has also held several senior roles in sport and related sectors, including the Lawn Tennis Association, Super League Basketball, and Kick It Out. He was awarded an MBE in 2024 for his services to sport.
