Simon is a Partner in HFW’s Construction team. Simon is a preeminent, international lawyer focussing on complex construction projects, claims and disputes across various sectors, including major infrastructure, offshore construction, energy, mining, power, and transport. He routinely acts for large international contractors and has managed some of the largest international arbitrations and litigation in the Asia Pacific region.

In addition to formal disputes, Simon is often engaged as project counsel before disputes arise with the aim of avoiding or minimising claims and disputes.

Simon has significant experience with extension of time, variation, defective work, delay and disruption claims, as well as advising on contract termination issues.

Simon’s practice is inherently international, being an Australian-trained lawyer based in Singapore acting for international clients on projects all over the world.
