The Court has handed down judgment in Technip Saudi Arabia Limited v The Mediterranean and Gulf Cooperative Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Medgulf). This is the first court decision on the construction of the Damage to Existing Property Endorsement within the WELCAR standard form policy which will be of significant interest to the energy insurance market and no doubt will spark debate and discussion.
