About Valerio
Valerio is an Associate in HFW’s Shipping team in London.
Valerio advises clients on a broad range of commercial shipping disputes, with experience across matters involving charterparties, bills of lading, sale and purchase and general contractual disputes arising out of the marine sector. His work spans both English High Court litigation and international arbitration.
Valerio is a member of HFW’s Sustainability Team and has a particular interest in the intersection of traditional shipping disputes and the evolving regulatory and environmental landscape facing the maritime industry, including issues relating to decarbonisation, sustainable fuels and ESG compliance. He advises on issues under commercial contracts arising out of EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime.
Valerio is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales and is a native Italian speaker.
