About Thomas

Thomas is a Special Counsel in HFW’s Construction team. He has specialised in building and construction law for his entire career. His experience has focussed on project delivery and dispute resolution.

Thomas’ experience includes all forms of dispute resolution, in particular:

  • Security of payment: Acted in and advised on security of payment disputes in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, ACT, Northern Territory, Western Australia and New Zealand.
  • Arbitration: Acted on multiple arbitrations, both international commercial arbitrations and domestic commercial arbitrations. Acted on arbitrations involving different arbitral institutions and rules (International Chamber of Commerce, ACICA, Resolution Institute).
  • Litigation: Acted in court litigation in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
