About Stephen
Stephen is an associate in HFW’s London office. He specialises in regulatory and compliance matters, including economic and financial sanctions. He advises on EU, UK and US sanctions law.
Stephen’s training contract was with the Government Legal Department and he joined HFW while in his NQ year. While he was at GLD, Stephen advised on the UK’s post-Brexit FTA programme with a focus on Services and Investment in his role as part of the Department for International Trade’s legal team. Stephen also spent time advising the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy while also spending time at GLD’s in-house litigation teams.
Stephen is qualified in England and Wales.
