About Simon

Simon specialises in international commercial dispute resolution, focussing on the insurance and reinsurance sector. He advises on major (re)insurance losses, usually complex, cross-border and high-value, across all lines of (re)insurance including property, marine (cargo and H&M), energy, construction/CAR, BI, liability/casualty, financial lines, D&O, specie and reinsurance. As well as advising on coverage disputes, he has experience of defence of liability claims, subrogation, policy/wording reviews, and general commercial litigation and risk management matters. Simon has a wide range of experience in ADR, including mediation and arbitration.

Simon was named a “Key Lawyer” in Legal 500 UK 2022/23 and 2023/24 for Insurance & Reinsurance.

Simon is fluent in French and German.
