About Octavie

Octavie is an Associate in HFW’s Aerospace team specialising in aviation litigation, aviation insurance and regulatory matters in the aerospace industry.

Currently based in our Hong Kong office, Octavie works as a Foreign Registered Lawyer (England and Wales) with both our Aerospace and Commodities teams.

Octavie has experience in representing aviation entities and their respective insurers in various contractual and commercial matters. This includes advising (re)insurers on complex aviation insurance coverage issues, handling liability claims against airport service providers and manufacturers as well as advising airlines on their regulatory obligations across various jurisdictions.

Prior to joining HFW, Octavie obtained a Master’s degree in Air and Space Law from Leiden University. As she continues to engage with the fast-evolving space industry, she has acquired expertise in space law and the regulation of space activities, along with an in-depth understanding of the field.

Octavie qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in February 2025. Octavie is fluent in French.
