About Michael
Michael has extensive experience across all stages of project development and implementation; advising owners, financiers and contractors. He has held senior legal and commercial roles in industry in Australia and internationally. Michael’s deep understanding of the commercial drivers that affect business is a valuable asset to his clients.
Michael has a broad global practice and has acted for clients across infrastructure projects (road, rail, ports, energy, and social infrastructure), renewable energy projects, mining (establishment, expansion and services), shipbuilding, process engineering (desalination, ammonium nitrate), mining and ore processing (coal and iron ore) and oil and gas exploration and field development.
He provides project structuring advice, prepares and negotiates project agreements, including construction and procurement contracts, O&M arrangements, and joint venture agreements. Michael also advises on issues that arise during project delivery, including dispute avoidance and resolution.
Michael is admitted in Victoria, Australia and England and Wales.
