Matthew is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales who graduated in law from the University of Warwick and began practising as a dispute resolution lawyer.

Matthew specialises in corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on financial disputes, fraud, insolvency, asset / debt recovery, company law and trusts. He also has a contentious & non-contentious probate practice. Matthew is experienced in high value, complex and cross-border commercial litigation matters involving shareholder disputes, cryptocurrency, professional negligence, fraud and insolvency as well as probate disputes. He regularly appears as an advocate before the Hong Kong Courts on matters ranging from mandatory disclosure, garnishee proceedings, security for costs and other interlocutory orders.

Matthew acts for and frequently advises liquidators, receivers, creditors, high-net worth individuals and other international corporations.
