About Maira

Maira is an associate in the Shipping Litigation team in London, specialising in Admiralty and Crisis Management. She advises clients on various matters including salvage, wreck removal, collisions, towage as well charterparty and bill of lading disputes. The majority of Maira’s work involves multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.

Maira is also part of the team at HFW advising on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and has contributed to various publications in relation to this area.

During her training Maira undertook a six month secondment to HFW’s Singapore office, where she was involved in a range of contentious shipping matters.

Maira is qualified in England and Wales and is a native Greek speaker.
