Katherine is a Legal Director in HFW’s Shipping team with specialist experience in shipping, offshore and export financing.  

Katherine acts for finance providers, export credit agencies and borrowers/sponsors on asset financing and leasing cases and her work also covers ship sale and purchase, charterparties and building contracts, yacht financing, corporate and project financing in the shipping sector and other commercial shipping cases.

Katherine also acts for financial institutions and insurance providers in relation to facilities for the provision of corporate capital at Lloyd’s and other corporate insurance cases. Katherine spent 6 months on secondment to a ship finance bank.
