About Jonathan

Jonathan is a Partner in HFW’s Corporate & Commercial team, based full-time in the Riyadh office.

He advises on Saudi law across the full spectrum of corporate, commercial and regulatory areas, including company incorporation and corporate structuring, financial securities and capital markets, employment, compliance and governance, government contracting and procurement and commercial agreements and operations.

Jonathan has extensive knowledge of the local legal and regulatory environment, having been based full-time on the ground in Saudi Arabia since 2014. US-trained and qualified, he has particular experience advising US corporations and financial services companies on Saudi matters, and also acts for clients across several of HFW’s global core sectors.

Jonathan is author of the book “Introduction to Islamic Law: Principles of Civil, Criminal, and International Law under the Shari’a”.
