About Jessica
Jessica is a Senior Associate in HFW’s Commercial Shipping team, based in Perth and advises in the offshore petroleum, maritime, international trade sectors.
Her work focuses on commercial shipping, offshore petroleum regulation and litigated disputes. She advises oil and gas companies, contractors, shipowners and insurers on contentious and non-contentious matters, including regulatory compliance, environmental obligations, contractual risk, and complex commercial disputes. More recently she has gained experience advising on offshore decommissioning activities and environmental project compliance. Jessica also has experience advising vessel owners on a range of contractual matters including fleet ship-building contracts, charterparty disputes and sale and purchase of drill rigs.
Her expertise is supported by postgraduate study in the United Kingdom where she gained her LL.M in International Commercial Law, specialising in Australian petroleum regulation and blowout response.
