About Gaëlle

Gaëlle is a Partner in the Commodities team, and is dual-qualified in both Paris and New York. With over 20 years of experience in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, she has acted as counsel and arbitrator in complex disputes across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, particularly in the aviation, defence, energy, construction, transport, and hospitality sectors. 

In addition, Gaëlle advises on investment treaty arbitration proceedings and commercial litigation, including disputes involving contracts, supply chains, sellers’ guarantees, and post-M&A matters.

She regularly serves as president or co-arbitrator under the rules of major arbitral institutions. Former President of Paris Place d’Arbitrage, she is an active member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, and its Task Force on Arbitration of Climate Change Related Disputes. Gaëlle is also fluent in French and English and a former member of the Paris Bar Council.

Recognised in The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers, and Décideurs, Gaëlle joined HFW 2024 to strengthen its growing arbitration practice.
