Edward is a Partner in HFW’s Hong Kong office. He specialises in complex multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation and international arbitration with a focus on insolvency, fraud, asset tracing, preservation and enforcement.

Edward’s commercial litigation expertise includes contentious insolvency, shareholder disputes and fraud with a particular emphasis on complex high-value commercial disputes in the international trade and investment spaces. He regularly appears as an advocate before the Hong Kong Courts and is qualified in England & Wales, Hong Kong, and the British Virgin Islands.

Edward’s arbitration experience includes acting for leading financial institutions, traders and related service providers under all the major institutional regimes (including the HKIAC, SIAC, UNCITRAL and LCIA rulebooks) in jurisdictions across Asia and Europe.

Edward has been based in Asia since 2014. Prior to joining HFW, Edward gained a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Durham and worked as a project manager for a Fortune Global 150 multinational in the United Kingdom, France and Holland.

In 2023 Edward was featured in the list of ‘Hong Kong’s Most Influential Lawyers Under 40’ by Hong Kong Business. In 2025 he appeared in Legal 500 for his litigation and international arbitration skills.

Edward的仲裁经验涵盖代表领先金融机构、贸易商及相关服务提供商，依据亚洲及欧洲各司法管辖区的所有主要仲裁规则（包括香港国际仲裁中心、新加坡国际仲裁中心、联合国国际贸易法委员会及伦敦国际仲裁院规则）处理案件。

Edward自2014年起常驻亚洲。加入HFW前，他获得杜伦大学工程学硕士学位，并曾任职于全球财富150强跨国企业，在英国、法国和荷兰担任项目经理。

2023年，Edward入选《香港商业》”香港40岁以下最具影响力律师”榜单。2025年，Edward凭借其在诉讼和国际仲裁方面的专业能力入选《法律500强》指南。
