Claire has managed some of the world’s largest-scale shipping casualties in recent years, particularly those involving mass fatalities and natural disasters, resulting in high value multi-jurisdictional disputes.
With a Master Mariner qualification and 9 years at sea as a deck officer with P&O / Princess Cruises, Claire is a subject matter expert and a core member of the Travel and Leisure Team.
Recognised by legal directories and the industry alike, Claire was named one of the global market’s Top 10 maritime lawyers by Lloyd’s List in 2021, featured in the Lawyers’ Hot 100 the same year and awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for her services to women and diversity in the maritime industry.
