About Christian
Christian specialises in international arbitration and litigation before Swiss courts, with a special focus in transport matters (commodities, shipping and aviation) and coverage issues relating to insurance policies. He has also experience in advising clients in trade finance, sanctions, and financial regulatory matters.
Before joining HFW, Christian practiced litigation and arbitration in various leading law firms in Geneva and at the Swiss Arbitration Center (formerly Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution). Christian also gained valuable in-house experience by working in the legal team of MSC Cruises.
Beside his law studies at the University of Geneva, Christian holds an LLM in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva. He completed various certificates in the commodity trading industry.
Christian is fluent in Italian, French, English and Spanish.
Christian is qualified in Switzerland.
