About Caroline

Caroline is a Legal Director in HFW’s Shipping team. Based in the London office, Caroline has over 35 years of experience in the maritime sector. She specialises in advising and acting on dry shipping issues and disputes for Owners, Charterers and cargo interests, as well as oil contract, and general commercial disputes. 

Caroline has represented clients at all levels of the English Court System, including the Supreme Court, and has handled numerous arbitrations for shipping and oil trading clients under LMAA, DIAC, and LCIA terms. 

Additionally, Caroline provides expert advice and representation for defendants in personal injury claims, travel disputes (including those related to the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations), and cruise claims, often involving complex cross-border and multi-jurisdictional issues.
