About Bernard
Bernard is an Associate in HFW’s Aerospace team in Brussels, specialising in aviation related dispute resolution and transactional matters.
He advises and represents airlines and insurers in a broad range of matters, including litigation before the Belgian and Dutch courts. He also advises on Belgian law aspects of banking and finance transactions, including securitisations.
Before joining HFW, Bernard worked in the banking and finance practice of Belgium’s largest independent law firm, based in Brussels.
Bernard is a native Dutch and French speaker and is fluent in English. He is a member of the Brussels Bar and also serves as a Reserve Officer in the Belgian Navy.
