About Alice
Alice specialises in insurance and reinsurance coverage and liability disputes. Alice has experience of commercial dispute resolution in a wide range of business lines, including property damage, business interruption, professional indemnity, construction (CAR) and cyber-crime. Alice’s experience often has an international focus and includes technical, cross-border matters and subrogated claims. She has a wide range of experience in ADR, including mediation and arbitration, as well as general commercial litigation.
Alice also has experience of working on non-contentious matters, including pre acquisition claims due diligence review. Most recently, a pre-acquisition claims due diligence review exercise in relation to the proposed provision of adverse development cover for a casualty book of a Lloyd’s Syndicate.
Recent claims work includes a subrogated multi-party claim concerning a crane collapse and a high-value reinsurance catastrophe cover dispute relating to COVID-19 losses.
Alice’s experience includes a period working in-house within the claims team of a multinational insurance company, where she specialised in complex property claims.
Alice is qualified in England and Wales.
