About Asheesh
Asheesh is a Senior Associate in HFW’s Aerospace team. He has over 30 years’ experience in asset and project financing in the transportation and energy sectors, advising banks, equity investors/sponsors and airlines and lessors on acquisition, financing, management, maintenance and leasing of moveable assets and the development of transport and energy infrastructure.
Asheesh’s asset financing experience covers leasing, portfolio sales and financing, Islamic financing and ECA financing of aircraft, rolling stock and equipment. Asheesh has significant experience negotiating OEM purchase contracts with all major airframe and engine manufacturers and maintenance providers, as well as on contractual disputes arising from those contracts and financing business jets.
His infrastructure development and financing experience covers the development of ports, toll roads, oil and coal extraction and power generation, including hydrocarbon and renewable projects, a number of these transactions being seminal/landmark deals in developing markets, ranging from South and South-East Asia, through the Middle East and Eastern Europe to South America.
