About Amanda

Amanda is the Knowledge Counsel for HFW’s Commodities team.

She works with the global Commodities team and its clients, providing legal updates, training and development opportunities, bulletins, briefings, market insights, and guides.  

Amanda is involved in a variety of knowledge management initiatives for the firm, including cross-sector collaborations; the best way to provide knowledge; firmwide training; and working with the Early Careers team. She also sits on the firm’s Global Sustainability Ambassadors group.

Before moving into knowledge management, Amanda practised as a shipping and international trade lawyer from 1996 to 2011. Her experience spans complex cross-border disputes and advising on international trade issues, giving her a deep understanding of the sector’s legal and commercial challenges.
