Nancy Chen is an associate in HFW's corporate and commercial team, supporting our Shanghai, Hong Kong and BVI offices and their clients. Nancy specialises in cross-border corporate and commercial projects across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, automobile, high technology, medical device, retail, logistics and e-commerce. Nancy’s practice focuses on global supply chain matters, outbound and inbound investments, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and real estate development.

Nancy has experience in advising multi-national clients, listed companies and China's state-owned enterprises on a wide spectrum of corporate transactions and day-to-day regulatory compliance matters, including employment law matters, ESG legal solutions, antitrust matters, cybersecurity and data privacy rules and intellectual property protection.

Nancy has developed specialised knowledge in both civil law and common law systems. After graduating from Southwest University of Political Science and Law (LL.B.) and the University of New South Wales (J.D.), Nancy joined HFW's Shanghai office. Nancy is qualified in New South Wales, Australia, and speaks English and Mandarin.
