International law firm Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) continues to grow its market leading commodities practice with the recruitment of trade finance specialist Philip Prowse who has joined the firm’s London office as Partner.

Philip has specialised in commodity trade finance for the last decade and has extensive experience of acting for traders and banks. Richard Crump, the firm’s Senior Partner commented: “I am delighted to welcome Philip to the firm. His trade finance expertise further strengthens our existing international commodities team and offers significant synergies with our market leading physical commodities practice. We are excited by the opportunities that Philip’s experience provides us to extend our offering to clients.”

Philip commented: “I am pleased to be joining HFW’s internationally recognised commodities practice. The strength and depth of the existing team offers an excellent platform for me to help the firm take advantage of the many opportunities we are now seeing in the global trade finance market as it continues to re-model with both traditional and new forms of investment and structures.”
