Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has been shortlisted in two major categories at the 2019 Legal Business Awards.
HFW Global Senior Partner Richard Crump is shortlisted for the Management Partner of the Year award, and shipping partner Richard Neylon is shortlisted for the Lawyer of the Year award.
Legal Business says that Richard Crump, who was recently re-elected to a fifth term, has “helped transform HFW from a 240-lawyer shipping firm to a thriving, multi-sector business with more than 600 lawyers and offices across five continents”.
Legal Business says that Richard Neylon has “established a niche advising international companies on difficult, esoteric issues in challenging and hostile environments, from terrorism to kidnapping, hijackings, drug seizures, and detentions”. Richard was recently named by The Lawyer as one of the UK’s top 100 lawyers.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 28 March.
