HFW named ESG Firm of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards

Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has been named ESG Firm of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards 2023.

The Asia Legal Awards identify the most important transactions and cases with the most complex and outstanding legal work in Asia, and recognises the firm who has set new standards in the delivery of high-level legal services and solutions, thereby demonstrating their market-leading position.

Peter Zaman‘s team in Singapore advised on the Rimba Collective – one of the largest private sector-enabled forest conservation initiatives in Southeast Asia, Abaxx Clearing’s futures contract on voluntary carbon offset units, and IETA, World Bank and Singapore Government’s establishment of Climate Action Data Trust, a decentralised metadata system that can link, aggregate and harmonise all major carbon market registry data.
