International law firm HFW has announced the relocation of its Perth office. The home of Western Australia’s premier Energy practice and with a strong presence in the Construction and Shipping sectors, HFW Perth will move to Level 15 Brookfield Place Tower 2 as of 8 May 2017.
HFW is a sector focused firm with over 450 lawyers working worldwide on the legal issues relating to all aspects of international commerce. In Australia, 15 Partners and more than 40 lawyers work across offices in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The Perth office, which predominantly services clients across all aspects of the Energy, Construction and Shipping sectors in WA and beyond, is moving in order to accommodate an expanding team, however the relocation also marks the completion of a project to relocate the firm’s Australian operations. In the past two years all three Australian offices have moved to premises that provide state of the art facilities and incorporate innovative workplace design to support the firm’s core values of being innovative, creative and collaborative.
Simon Adams, head of the firm’s Perth office commented:
The move to Brookfield Place is an exciting development. We opened our Perth office in 2011 and have steadily added to our team and client offering since then. We are specialist lawyers serving key sectors and we help our clients identify and develop opportunities that will help them achieve their strategic goals, whether we are advising on the latest developments in the electricity sector, advising exporters and carriers of bulk commodities, handling litigation in the construction space or providing advice on the largest renewable energy projects, that will help to shape Australia’s future. Our new office will provide us space where we can continue to expand and strengthen our client offering.
