Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has advised Markerstudy Group on its acquisition of top 30 UK insurance broker Brightside Group from private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners.
The acquisition adds more than £125 million to Markerstudy’s Gross Written Premium.
HFW’s team advising Markerstudy was led by Ashwani Kochhar and also included Dominic Pereira, Laura MacLean, Frank Walters and William Reddie.
HFW has significant experience in insurance M&A and previously advised Markerstudy on its £185 million acquisition of the Co-op’s insurance underwriting business, CIS General Insurance Limited.
