International law firm HFW has appointed Paris-based finance expert Diane de Moüy as Partner, effective as of 20 September.
Diane de Moüy is an experienced finance lawyer with a recognised practice and a high-profile track record of working on international finance transactions over 26 years. Qualified in Paris and New York, she has extensive experience in corporate finance, stock exchange regulations, restructurings, banking, export finance, cross-border, multi-jurisdictional leveraged finance, acquisitions finance, infrastructure, energy and telecommunications transactions.

I am looking forward to working with the team to develop new opportunities from the finance market which continues to re-model with both traditional and new forms of investment and structures.”

Diane’s recruitment comes on the back of a number of other significant hires into the firm’s finance and corporate teams over the last two years, including Partners Jean-Marc Zampa and Franck Bernauer in Paris, Georges Racine in Geneva, Tien Tai and Shyamal Jeewoolall in Dubai, Haydn Dare in Indonesia, Leigh Borrello in Sydney, David Brotherton in Singapore, Justin Sun in Hong Kong, and Stephen Marais in London. The international finance team will be further strengthened in January 2017 by Olivier Bazin who will join as a Partner in the Geneva office.
This move is part of the firm’s commitment to develop the capabilities it can offer to clients from its Paris office and more specifically to grow its finance capabilities in Paris.
Diane joins the firm from Orrick in Paris. She will be joined by Associate Olivia Crouzat who was in Diane’s team at Orrick.
