We are committed to improving social mobility at the firm and the wider legal profession.
We aim to remove barriers for those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, including increasing awareness of law as a viable career path and improving the employability skills of young people.
We use the Rare contextual recruitment system and operate a ‘second look’ policy to ensure that we aren’t overlooking talent.
Working together
We partner with organisations such as Bright Network and The Brokerage to help us engage with people from lower income backgrounds.
Through our participation in the PRIME Commitment, we offer structured work experience to young people from low-income backgrounds in the form of one-week structured programmes.
The students are invited to join our work experience alumni network so we can stay in touch with them, share useful careers information, and invite them to our annual networking event.
