Rami is a Partner in HFW's shipping, offshore and logistics team in the Middle East.

Since joining in 2014, Rami has been involved in a variety of areas including commercial, civil, labour, shipping and criminal litigation disputes in the UAE and the wider region. Rami assists clients with debt recovery, banking disputes, shareholder disputes, labour disputes, payment orders, sale and purchase contract disputes, enforcement of local and international awards and judgments, attachment of assets, fraud, breach of trust, shipping disputes related to the carriage of goods by sea, charterparties, shipping agencies, and ship arrests.

Prior to joining HFW, Rami practised with a leading Jordanian law firm working primarily for the litigation department. In 2010, Rami joined a UAE-based law firm and was involved in commercial, civil, shipping and aviation litigation disputes.

Rami is recognised as a ‘Key Lawyer’ in Dispute Resolution by Legal 500 EMEA 2023.

Rami is qualified in Jordan.
