Marc is a senior associate in HFW’s shipping team in Dubai, having previously trained and qualified in England and Wales. He specialises in the shipping and logistics sectors.

Marc advises on both transactional and contentious matters.

On the transactional side, Marc advises shipping and logistics clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial arrangements. This includes concession agreements, port tariffs, service agreements, general terms and conditions, cargo carriage documentation, agency agreements, and sale and purchase agreements.

On the contentious side, Marc focuses on disputes in the shipping and logistics sectors, as well as on sale and purchase disputes. He regularly acts for port operators, logistics providers, ship owners and charterers, cargo owners and traders, as well as P&I Clubs and underwriters, in both Court and international arbitration.

Marc has been in the Middle East for a number of years, and has accumulated professional experience in the region. He is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
