Jenny is a Legal Director in our London office and speaks Greek. Jenny advises on all aspects of wet and dry shipping law, offshore shipping contracts and marine insurance.

Jenny has a broad practice including advising shipowners, cargo owners and salvors in casualty situations, and assisting owners, charterers and cargo interests in charterparty and bill of lading disputes, and with issues arising under the Limitation Convention 1976. Jenny has advised extensively in relation to the offshore/energy shipping sector, negotiating towage and OSV contracts on behalf of shipowners and charterers, and handling offshore contract disputes.

She has particular experience of marine insurance disputes and has advised both insurers and shipowners/managers in relation to disputes under H&M, war risks and kidnap and ransom policies, as well as advising on P&I coverage issues and brokers' liability. Jenny has also assisted insurers and brokers by drafting policy terms and amending existing terms to reflect the changes brought in by the Insurance Act 2015. She regularly gives presentations on topical marine insurance issues, and has undertaken a secondment to the marine and energy claims department of a leading London insurer.

Jenny's work has recently been recognised by Legal500 UK (2022) who have named her a 'Rising Star' within the legal Shipping industry.

Jenny has extensive experience in arbitration, High Court and Court of Appeal litigation. Jenny is based in London and qualified in England and Wales. She spent two years in HFW's Piraeus office.
