HFW continues expansion of Australian construction team with lateral hires and inter office moves

HFW's expansion of its construction capability in Australia has been enhanced by the arrival of Partner Alex McKellar and Associate, Jarrod Gutsa to our Melbourne office from an established Australian firm, together with Senior Associate Kim Moore and Associate Chris Cho who have relocated to the Melbourne office from HFW's Hong Kong office.

Alex brings with him legal expertise in front end risk profiling and dispute resolution for construction projects combined with the technical knowledge of a qualified civil engineer. Alex's experience includes significant front and back-end project work primarily in the domestic context.

Kim and Chris are relocating from the Hong Kong office to provide additional support for the firm's construction dispute resolution team in Melbourne which services clients' requirements both in Australia and overseas.

HFW Australia now has 8 eight partners in its construction group located in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
