HFW Bolsters is Middle East and Sub-continent Shipping and Trade Capabilities

Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) is delighted to announce that Hari Krishna has joined its Dubai office as a Senior Associate.

Hari is a shipping, commodities and offshore energy specialist who has been based in Dubai since 2007. His transactional experience includes advising on the acquisition, conversion and chartering of offshore accommodation service vessels and related corporate structuring. On the contentious side, Hari has recently handled complex multi-jurisdictional ship finance and marine insurance litigation and commodities arbitration. Hari has been recognised in Legal 500 for his "excellent commitment to client needs" and for having "great passion for [his] work". He is dual qualified in India and England & Wales.

Simon Cartwright, who heads the HFW Dubai shipping and trade team, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Hari. He brings with him a wealth of both legal and market experience, and will be a very valuable addition to our team."

HFW's Dubai office has strengthened its capabilities considerably over the last few years, with the recent promotion to partnership of Sam Wakerley, Ian Chung and Yaman Al Hawamdeh, coupled with the move of highly respected Partner Hugh Brown from HFW's London office, as Dubai office head. Hugh is a known figure in the region, and has been the firm's Indian Sub-continent liaison partner for many years. Hugh's relocation and Hari's arrival also reinforce the firm's commitment to the Sub-continent.
