HFW advises AIK Banka on €280m acquisition of Eurobank Direkt
Global, sector-focused law firm HFW advised AIK Banka on its €280m acquisition of Eurobank Direktna.
The transaction will create the second-largest banking operation in Serbia. It is expected to close in 2023, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
The HFW team advising AIK was led by London Partner Alex Kyriakoulis and also included Simon Williams and Audrey Hsieh, Moravčević Vojnović & Partners in cooperation with Schoenherr also advised AIK Serbian counsel, and J.P. Morgan acted as financial advisor.
