HFW Achieves Top-Tier Rankings In The Legal 500 UK

Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has once again been recognised as a leading practice in the 2018-19 edition of The Legal 500 UK, a guide to the country’s best lawyers and law firms.

HFW achieved 22 practice rankings in the 2018-19 guide, covering a wide range of areas including aerospace, commodities, energy and resources, insurance, shipping, disputes, corporate and finance.

HFW also has 14 lawyers ranked as ‘Leading Individuals’ and another six lawyers ranked as ‘Next Generation Lawyers’.

The Legal 500 said that HFW offers “a comprehensive range of dispute resolution, transactional and regulatory legal services…specialising in high-value, complex, multi-party, and cross-border work.”

Clients, who were contacted by The Legal 500 to provide anonymous testimonials to support the rankings, said that the firm’s lawyers “think outside the box”, are “always willing to go the extra mile” and are “not afraid to give an opinion and guidance, rather than sitting on the fence”.

Clients also said that HFW lawyers are “very smart, hardworking and very commercial”, and that the firm’s “overall level of service is impeccable”.

The Legal 500 rankings are based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative research and client feedback, with assessments made on a variety of factors including the strength and depth of the practice, and a firm’s ability to handle the most complex and innovative work.
