HFW has edited Getting The Deal Through's Ports & Terminals Handbook 2018, and contributed to chapters on the UK and the UAE.

The handbook provides information on key ports and summarises the legal position in major jurisdictions, including in relation to port construction, development and operation, state policies and legislative frameworks for port development and reform (including public procurement and PPP legislation), relevant regulatory authorities and their powers, competition regulations, tariffs, and contractual disputes and remedies.

As a partner within our market-leading ports and terminals practice, Alex Kyriakoulis was invited to edit the handbook and write the introductory overview. Alex also contributed to the UK chapter of the handbook, alongside associate Joseph Botham. HFW partner Alexander Reid contributed to the UAE chapter of the handbook.
