George is an English-qualified shipping and trade lawyer based in our Monaco office. He has a wide practice, encompassing contentious wet, dry and international trade & commodities matters as well as general commercial disputes.

George's shipping practice is particularly focused on charterparty disputes, cargo claims, yachting and contracts for the supply and carriage of goods by sea.

He is equally involved in international trade & commodities disputes, with a particular focus on petroleum products.

The 2024 edition of Legal 500 EMEA recognised George as a "Rising Star" in Commercial, Corporate and M&A. 

George has primarily acted in arbitration, both ad-hoc and under the LMAA rules, but also has High Court experience, including both the Commercial and Admiralty Courts.
