Astrid works as an associate in HFW's London office, specialising in insurance and reinsurance coverage and liability disputes. She has experience of international commercial dispute resolution with a broad range of experience in the English High Court and international arbitration.

Astrid's previous work experience includes four years of industry experience working in the claims and litigation departments at an international legacy insurance and reinsurance company, and working on a wide range of different types of dispute and claim.

During her training, Astrid spent time in HFW's commodities and shipping litigation teams, where she gained experience in ADR and general commercial litigation. Astrid also spent a period working in HFW's non-contentious insurance department, advising clients on corporate matters relevant to the insurance and reinsurance sector.

Astrid is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales.
