Sam is an Associate in HFW’s Corporate & Commercial team. He specialises in energy and infrastructure with extensive cross-border experience advising governments, international energy companies, sponsors, and lenders on major transactions across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
His expertise spans upstream oil and gas, project development and finance, renewables and infrastructure, with a track record on high-value mandates for clients including TotalEnergies, ADNOC, Electric Hydrogen, Siemens, CNOOC, and leading private equity firms such as Triton Investment Management and Antin Infrastructure Partners. Sam is regularly responsible for drafting key transaction documents, leading due diligence and disclosure processes, and managing cross-border deal execution.
Sam is qualified in England & Wales and in the Emirate of Dubai, UAE.
